Free Training Program For Community Health Workers
 

The Mississippi Lung Cancer Survivorship ECHO program is supported through funding from the Mississippi State Department of Health Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. We acknowledge the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for its support of the Mississippi staff, and the printing and distribution of the monograph under cooperative agreement NU58DP007129 awarded to Mississippi. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of CDC.

We believe that community health workers play an important role in delivering health education programs to people living in Mississippi. Therefore, we invite community health workers in Mississippi to participate in a training program to enhance your ability to delivery of cancer survivorship information to lung cancer survivor in the communities that you work in.

What the Lung Cancer Survivorship Training Program Involves:  

The program includes three 1-hour webinars on:

·     Wednesday, December 6th 12pm - 1pm CST

·     Wednesday, December 13th 12pm - 1pm CST

·     Wednesday, December 20th 12pm - 1pm CST

Participants will receive a $25 gift card for participating in each training session ($75 total), a certificate of participation and lung cancer resources.


Participation in this program is completely voluntary:  You may discontinue your participation at any time. We will maintain the confidentiality of all information that you provide during this project to the best of our ability.
